The US Department of Transportation granted last Wednesday a $2 million budget for Oregon’s electric cars charging station. These $2 million funds will be able to create 42 charging stations in Oregon with a gap of 50 miles per station.

It was planned that these 42 charging stations will be constructed in rural areas of Oregon. By this way, if these electric charging stations will be readily available, electric car users can surely travel to longer distance. What’s more interesting is that these electric cars charging in those stations are free of charge. For 15-20 minutes, an electric car can be fully charge.

Oregon, as a national electric vehicle leader wanted to change the world by changing cars at a time.

They are currently making negotiation towards Washington, California and British Columbia in making highways go green by using electric cars and establishing electric cars charging stations.

The best way to make all these happen is to encourage every Oregonians to use electric cars to cut fuel cost in an environmental friendly way.
